July 2 - VBS Celebration Sunday

This Weekend: “Ready, Set, Move!” VBS Celebration Sunday!

After a great week of learning and playing at 1st Presbyterian (3rd and Crawford), our VBS crew is MOVING to worship together with you at First United Methodist at 3rd and National. Our normal 10:30am Sunday worship time will feature lessons and music from our week of fun “following Jesus here, there, and EVERYWHERE!” You are invited to come and celebrate with us as we hear some of the scriptures and lessons we worked with during the week. We will also celebrate that Pastor Christopher is *not* moving – having been formally appointed here for another year - and is back from a month of travel to Annual Conference, our ASP Mission trip, and then vacation time. After the service we will gather in Fellowship Hall for a potluck meal – Methodists are brining entrees and sides, the Presbyterians are bringing sides and desserts and everyone is invited to join in the celebrations! (and there might just be some news on a new fall challenge between our congregations too...) See you there!

Upcoming Events:
